Last updated: March 30, 2026. These terms govern the use of the portal, quote requests, payments, and digital manufacturing services managed by Matter24.
1. Acceptance and scope of service
By browsing the portal, creating an account, submitting files, or approving a quote, you accept these terms. If you act on behalf of a company or institution, you represent that you have sufficient authority to request the service and accept its commercial and operational effects.
2. Files, content, and customer responsibility
The customer is responsible for holding the necessary rights to the files, marks, models, and references uploaded to Matter24. The customer must also provide measurements, quantities, tolerances, intended use, and technical restrictions truthfully and completely. Matter24 may reject jobs that include insufficient information, manufacturing risks, unlawful content, or potential third-party rights infringements.
3. Quotes, validity, and changes
Every quote is issued based on the information available at the time of review and may include a validity date. If the customer changes files, quantities, materials, finishes, urgency, or delivery method, Matter24 may recalculate the price, production lead time, and applicable conditions. Unpaid quotes may expire, be marked as abandoned, or be withdrawn when costs, availability, or technical feasibility change.
4. Payment, production start, and cancellations
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, production begins once the applicable payment has been confirmed. Payments are processed through the platforms enabled by Matter24 and may be subject to anti-fraud or reconciliation checks. If the customer requests a cancellation after approving the job, Matter24 will review the actual project stage to determine whether a full refund, partial refund, or only the suspension of pending stages is possible.
5. Lead times, shipping, and pickup
Promised lead times start once Matter24 has usable files, sufficient specifications, and confirmed payment, as applicable. Estimated dates may change because of pending clarifications, customer changes, operational saturation, material shortages, maintenance, external causes, or force majeure. For courier deliveries, transit time depends on the logistics provider; for pickups, the customer must arrive within the communicated window to avoid storage or rescheduling issues.
6. Quality, warranty, and limitation of liability
Matter24 will manufacture the job according to the approved quote and the reasonable tolerances of the selected process. Normal variation in color, texture, tool marks, layer orientation, kerf, or finish does not by itself constitute a defect. Any claim must be reported promptly with enough evidence to allow review. Matter24's total liability for an order is limited, to the maximum extent permitted, to the amount actually paid for the corresponding job.
